Adult Drug Court: A jail alternative for substance abuse offenders provided for the Tulare County judicial system. The program offers intensive services for assessment, individual, group, and family counseling, a comprehensive life skill program, employment readiness, anger management and random drug testing. Adult Outpatient Services: Outpatient services are offered for adult substance abusers in Visalia and Porterville. Services include assessment, individual, group, and family counseling. Batterers Program: A 52-week program for perpetrators of domestic violence. Driving under the Influence: First offender Program: Services include initial interview/assessment, individual counseling sessions, education classes. Therapeutic group and bi-weekly self-help groups geared toward awareness of the problem, personal responsibility with therapeutic assistance in change and resolution of alcohol/drug related problems. Multiple Offender Programs: Services are designed to meet the population, which has experienced prior offense of driving under the influence and have re-offended. The services here are more intensive with an initial interview/treatment plan, bi-weekly face to face counseling for 12 months, classes for education, groups or recovery/relapse prevention, based work and 6 months of after care with individual, and group sessions. Six month program: Services specifically targeting the first offender with a .20 blood alcohol level or above. The program is made up of the initial interview/treatment plan, face-to-face sessions, education classes, and groups. The program is designed to stress recovery/relapse prevention with more intense intervention. .
